I lost my job last month. I've had to cut down my gym visits, and I'm no longer doing fun outings for the sake of it.
That doesn't mean I can't have fun and connect with people, though! I'll still be able to go to my TTRPG group on alternatinv Tuesdays because my mom takes me there and a friend in the game is usually able to bring me back. I'm being intentional about spending time with my online friends, including voice chat. I'm using my spare time not just to play video games (on the new Switch 2!), but also to continue building my coding skills.
I've made site skins for Archive of Our Own (AO3) before, so I had a little base knowledge in CSS. It's been so satisfying learning from other people's site skins and learning what each part of their skin corresponds to what part of the website's interface. Now that I've worked through the MDN core module on HTML and I've started the CSS module, I'm really excited to implement that on my own website!
